A CDE is a psychological evaluation that identifies cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns consistent with a cluster of symptoms that create a clinical condition when they happen together and impair development and daily functioning or create a high level of distress. Dr. Leon Infante has extensive experience and training in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating infants, toddlers, children, and adults who meet the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She is certified in Autism Diagnosis Observation Scale-2 and is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The evaluation will include data about the intellectual, cognitive, emotional and social skills, will explain if the child or adult meets the criteria or not and at the level of functioning.
