Yadely Leon Infante

Psy.D, LMHC, BCBA

Dr. Yadely Leon Infante, the founder and CEO of Neurobehavioral Health Corp., is a passionate licensed psychologist with a holistic vision of mental health. Dr. Leon Infante has been working in the field, playing different professional roles since 2005, after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2004 from Carlos Albizu University. In 2006, she completed a Master of Science in Psychology. After treating children and adults with mental health conditions as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2011 and not seeing long-lasting effects, she decided to focus on the root of our mental struggles: the brain. Dr. Leon Infante completed a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology where she was trained in Neuropsychology, a specialty in Clinical Psychology that studies the relationship between the brain and behavior to identify how cognitive skills impact our behavior and how brain damage or deficiencies influence our development and daily functioning, causing mental health conditions. After being trained in the field of neuropsychology, she began to realize that one size does not fit all; therefore, she began to study the most cost-effective interventions that have been effectively validated for specific conditions that may enhance brain development and brain plasticity, including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and Applied Behavior Analysis becoming a board certified behavior analyst in 2020. These evidence-based interventions produce short-term and long-term health improvement and long-lasting physical and mental changes. Dr. Yadely Leon Infante is a current member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts. She lives in Miami and has a family of 3 daughters with whom she enjoys talking, doing outdoor activities, and getting out into nature every chance she gets.
